Default rear shock spring preload nut how to get loose?

how do i get the dang lock nuts loose? i have beat o0n them with a hammer and large screw driver but nothing, they are standard threads right? as you are looking at the back of the machine from the motor righty tighty lefty loosy, lol not reversed threads? lol

You have to really hit them hard the first time, mine was locktighted. I got a big huge flat head screwdriver and a big hammer and let it have it. It should come loose just keep trying.

as you are finding out every thing on this quad is locked down tight, this Bee-otch is not gona vibrate apart. standerd threads. big screw driver big hammer. Good luck!

A hammer and big flat screwdriver like DuneRider650 said. Also put it up on a stand to release the load on the shock.
