Wheel size advise?
#1
Im currently running the stock wheels and tires on my 05 DS Viper. I bent one wheel really bad and I want
to replace both rears with douglas 190's also I would like to replace the stock tires with maybe holeshots
I would like some advise on tire size if I move up to 22's am I going to lose anything power wise?

In the general sense about it, the taller the tire (22") the better top end you will have, the smaller the tire (20) will have better low end. Plus the tire u choose u can look at the weight, heavy tire is harder to turn and vise versa, but u dont want a lil light baby tire cause the DS is very prone to spin under its horsepower. My tire experience is as follows...
Stock Baja 20x11x9 - crap traction, awesome corner and predictability, slipped all the time, light weight
ITP Holeshot XCT 22x11x9 - good traction, awesome cornering and predictability, slipped in wet stuff
Maxxis Razr II 20x11x9 - better traction, lotta corner bite, not as much prediction, slipped a lil bit
GBC Mud Shark 21x12x9 - awesome traction, great cornering, lil heavy, takes a lot to slip
Pure Sports Realtor 22x12x9 - great traction, easy cornering but sometimes to much sliding, heavy, dug
