something is fishy here.Does power to weight ratio mean anything to you?A 250R ATC with just a pipe and paddles will put the smack down,as will a LT500,Tecate,TriZ etc, ect, ect

The following are estimates:

250r ATC, 300lbs, 30hp (ARW), 180lb rider
hp / lb = 16

DS650, 450lbs, 45hp (ARW), 280lb rider
hp / lb = 16.2

Not much of a difference...

Care to break out the science book for me again? Because in my book .2 more in a hp/weight ratio isn't squat.

Also, it is ridiculous to speculate the outcome of a drag by hp/weight alone!

It has been a long time since I have added my two cents. Reaper and I had a very similar experience at the dunes in March. There were very few bikes that could begin to compare. I never drag raced on flat ground, but up hills it was great! The banshees would whine and scream and do everything they could, but still we pulled away. It seems the steeper the hill, the more chance the DS has of totally hosing.

My riding boots have laces, and a nike swoosh. All my money went to my helmet (and the DS paymnt), that does not disqualify me does it?
