i get horizontal play, side to side not any like the bushings are bad but like maybe there is an o ring suppose to go between the brass busings and the frame, the bushings are not wore, anyone else have this problem? thanks fellers

no i checked it and it is tight i was looking at my parts on the cdrom and it says there is suppose to be o rings on there maybe they fell out or got worn? how much are the swingarm bushings and o rings? thanks again fellers you all rock

 

How did you make out - I am having the same problem now. From my parts catalogue I can'e see if there is bushings in there ???

 

the o-ring is not a spacer. it is a seal that rides in the groove on the bushing. when i replaced my stock swing arm the side to side play was adjusted by tighteng up the shaft. i may be wrong with this, but mine has been like this for over 2 years and i have had no problems. as far as replaceing the o-ring, go to Ace or True Value & they will have 1 to match it up with.
