Default loose swing arm bolt hole in frame?

has anyone ever had a ds with a loose swing arm bolt hole ? its where the swing arm pivot bolt goes through the frame on both sides of the bike. the bolt moves up and down in the frame about a 32nd of an inch. wouldn't think it would wear there. it is the correct bolt to. a guy brought the ds over to sell to me and thats what it has. weird. anyone?

Is the slop in the frame?.......or in the bushings? Does the bike have a huge number of hours? To my thinking, any pivot point will have wear eventually.........it just seems like it would take ALOT of use to have wear at that point.

The bushings should be the weak point.......

its in the frame. was thinking maybe this guy never lubed the swing arm bushings and they galled and stuck on the pivot bolt and then the bolt started moving in the frame. the bolt is hardened and the frame being mild steel ...... anyway , its cheap enough and the rest of the bike is ok except for the front shocks which are both leaking . I will have to find a used pair of stock shocks for it somewhere.....I wont build a busa bike out of it but it runs good and isnt bad looking and with the swing arm bolt area repaired and if I can find some good used stock shocks somewhere, it would make a decent rider .

Does anybody have the number of the bushing that are in there. I seem to have a lot on play in my swing arm as well. I have a disc for parts and it does not show needbearings or bushings, it onlt shows the cushions at the end of the shaft.

When you order the bushings and bearings make sure you slide the bolt thrue them before you press them into your swing arm they changed the sizes in 04
