what do u mean top end is low? What happens in 1st gear, like let it start and sit in neutral, put it in 1st, let the clutch out and go and explain what the problem is. Little better definition would help the guys on here.

Power loss shouldn't be limited to one gear. Is your power down in all gears?
If your clutch was slipping in first gear I'm pretty sure you would know it was going out in 3rd gear.
You have a 2001, have you checked your valve clearances? Probably not the issue but, if you haven't, you are due.
Put your ears to the bike. How are the bearings in the swing-arm bearing carrier?

its no power loss... the quad flys at all gears but on the end of each gear (high rpm) the quad accelerating is not well, like its chocking.
top end is low - the top end of my quad is not as it sepuse to be its about 5-8 mph slower...
when i start riding in first gear i hit full throttle to pull it up for a whellie, when the quad is half way up its stops and kindda make a strange noise...
my english is not well and i dont know much about quads... i hope u can help me on this 1 with the information i gave you.
10x alot!

If your DS is all stock then I would say that your hitting you rev-limiter.
Have you done any work to it lately?
Have you let it sit for en extended period before riding it ?
????????????????????????????????????

Yes I do mean the CDI box. Electrical could be the culprit but its still hard to say. To sit for a month isnt that bad, and if you said 6 months I might suspect the fuel.
Do you shift before it hits the rev-limit?
Is you air filter clean?
How long has it been since you had it serviced completely? By completely I mean a full tune-up with oil change and check & adjust valves?
