Just got back from getting my son his first drivers license. I have Sandstar 20 on back and sandstar on front. I appreciate the great input I getting some good idea of what to look at.

 

I read a few post of people having a problem with sticking, and some who did not. I would switch to a twist throttle. I will definately do the clutch springs. Is the Vortex CDI worth the money or should I look at the RWR over that or a comparible one. One other question is the K&N air filter carb mount or leave the stock box. I was planing on getting rid of the box?

 

dsraaray i have 04 bajz x i just put on a mrhp lectron 46hv, mrhp race ported intake, mrhp end cap, the moose thumb throttle for about 950 bucks. it runs great i took it in and had it dyno and adjusted and i am happy[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

If you don't mind what did your setup Dyno at?

 

i setup dyno in omaha at a bike shop. his dyno is setup for quads and mini sprints cars. also he has alot of experience with lectrons. i had the ds dyno in the spring shortly after i had it. then had him redyno and adjust the carb and gain 10hp in the broadband range on the average but only gained few on peak hp. talking to the randall at richards recreation where i bought everything and he said if i put a new cdi box. i would gain some more hp in the overrev area. i been just debating what cdi to get [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] have any more question just ask

As much as I would love to share I discussed it with My Baja and she said no and that I had to invest it in her, sorry.... It is a nice feeling to be able to finally put some upgrades on.

Jets are cheaper if you buy indivisual. Def go with 22x11x10 8 paddles haulers, also are you going out to Dumont Halloween ?
