How to spend my money?
I have around a 1200.00 to spend to make my stock 04 Ds650 Baja X faster. I have tried to read as much info as possible but find that there are a lot of varying opinions. I ride mainly in the dunes. I was looking at Alba Racing and Trinity racing pipes. I have looked at the vortex cdi, going to 15t front sprocket, thinking about the t45 carb, any help with best bang for my dollar would be a great help?

How to spend my money?
Heres a thought ...
HMF pipe --- 210.00 couple HP gain and shave off 4lbs to boot
Cdi Box --- 350.00 No real gain other than not more rev limiter ( this may not be the best gain for your money )
Ported intake ( mr hp. ) -- 110.00 small gain at best but a better flow into the head.
Jet kit ------ 50.00 +/-
K&N for box --- 50.00 +/-
2 hrs for a dyno tune session 150.00 -- 300.00
----------------------------------------
Total ------------- 920.00 TO 1070.00 +/-
Just a thought .. Im not sure if the prices are exact so dont hold me to it or call somebody and say you saw it here, thats all from memory and not the best one at that !!

What about paddles? Do you already have a set? All the power in the world wont do much good on stock tires in the sand. 22" haulers seem to be the tire of choice.
As for engine mods I am with JMAC. Or atleast that is the route I am heading. In addition I would also recommend a set of RWR 60% clutch springs. Cheap insurance for you clutch once you start modding.
