Default my review of the ct racing exhaust system

well I've got my ct exhaust on now that I ordered through randall. First thing the fit was perfect. At first I tried putting it on without separating the headpipes from the midpipe and that just wasnt happening so I separated them and walla in 15 minutes I had the whole system on. the ceramic finish on these pipes is awesome. In my opinion the pipe sounds better than just about any ds pipe I've heard not overly loud at all, well thats compared for my ugly stick drag pipe of course. not much can beat that lol. I was having problems even with my mbrp on with my quad cutting out in high rpm. I'm running a lectron 48hv so when I put the ct on I bumped the 45 powerjet that was in the carb to a 55 that I was sent and absolutely no more cutting out. The only complaint I may have about this pipe is how far the muffler sticks out. It doesnt go quite past the grab bar but about just as far as the ron woods. I would have to say the power output on this pipe is second to none compared to any ds pipe. well thats about all I've got to say, I just thought I would let you guys hear some feedback on this exhaust. Oh and one other thing I like is that the pipe tucks in closer to the motor so there is no need for a heat sheild. I don't think I could burn my leg on the pipe if I tried, its just that far in there.

What type of end cap are you using on that CT? I know they offer the supertrap disk type or a turn down tip.

Is there still room for dual carbs with their current bends?

Did you go with the supertrap disks or the open end cap option?

I run my RW pipe without a heat shield on one bike and wear shorts and no problem.

I'm thinking about the CT for the other bike.

Thanks.

I got it with the discs, im not sure about the dual carb clearance. I thought ct is only making it with the discs now cause it makes the most power that way and i'm pretty sure hpr verified that.

If you need clearance for dual carbs CT can custom bend you a header. They did that for me so I could fit the large FCR carbs in my raptor.

Thanks for the review. Do you have any pics you can post of both headpipe and endpipe? When running the disk endcaps does it qualify to be USFS spark arrested?

What exhaust were you running before the CT?

well its going to be a week or two before I can get pics up I'm a little busy, i'm pretty sure its usfs approved. I was running the mbrp before this which was a nice quiet pipe but made no real gains. The ct is the pipe of pipes in my opinion.

Arrestor is USFS approved, it should be stamped on the endcap.
