GO FOR IT!!!!

I have a Vforce and my friend has a DS 650 alba edition.

we both have a pipe, jetted, and cdi.

his DS will pass my V when he hits 3rd gear.

EVERY RACE

I get the Holeshot always. But he will always Pass.

Go GET THE $$$$$.

AllredBomber...

Be very careful. It's easy to get caught up in race stories of the average Bomb VS KFX 700's. I will agree that the average KFX falls flat after the 35 to 40mph mark, but you have to remember that this V twin motor has HUGE potential. There are a number of tuner shops that are getting 85+HP out of the stock bore with just some head tweaking, cam's ect. More than likely, he's all talk, but I wouldn't bet him that kind of money until your sure of what he has done. I have the full clutch kit/intake mods/exhaust and can only beat a piped DS until he hit's the top of 4th. Then it's all over for me.

Be careful, I just got a V-force I put a K&N, clutch spring, pipe and procomm CDI. I can't believe this bike. It is so much fun and has plenty of power. Was at the dunes this weekend and raced my buddy with his stage two up the hill. I beat him a couple of times but he had me by a quad lenght most of the time. He is also 25LBs lighter than me. The 700 was beating stock YFZ's. I still love my 720 but that 700 is fast and fun. The 700 will wipe also any bike for the first 100 ft. Good luck I hope you make the 1000 bucks. My DS will smoke my 700 but I have lots of goodies.

Well, this guy has now said, he was just talkin' some trash. He said just so nobody loses any money, we can race for the fun of it and see who wins. So, i guess there goes my shot at a "G" note. But, i was reading what ratrider was saying about the 15toother. Has anyone seen or heard of some timed 200-300ft testing of this mod. I don't wanna make a mistake, because my bike seems to go through 1,2,3 gear really quick. It will hit the rev limiter in a flash if you aren't careful. Everyone that has really hammered down on my DS, has hit the rev-limiter in 1st & 2nd gear. I'm just curious. Do you think it will stand up worse that it already does, cause it's hard for me to keep it down now in 1st & 2nd. Let me know what you think.

Hey Mongo...

Greenie peak is actually above the town of Red River NM. Well worth the trip if your interested. I didn't even know that Farmington had dunes. ......... Do you have any pic's? Take care man..

>>hit the rev-limiter in 1st & 2nd gear

SHIFT FASTER!!! If the DS is jetted nice, it'll slap the limiter faster than anyone would expect.

With the lower gears, a lot of folks launch in second. My experience has been this produces a mighty impressive, controllable power wheelie. I've also noticed if the other rider loses, when they line up for the second time, they almost always slap their tank trying to launch harder.

Me, I just put on a 14/41 combo with my 22"s. I finally get to check them out Saturday. My buddy is running the 15/40 so I'll get a good comparison.
