My sons DS 90. Needs new chain. What to get ???
Well my son has streched the chain out on hi DS to a point its going to need to be replaced soon. This is his first quad. Today I took him out and he was jumping that thing and going about 10 to 15 feet. He's only nine. He has rolled this quad several times and I hate to say it but he rides it like he stole it. Anyway I never had a problem with the chain jumping off but today it did it twice. Both times when he jumped (on the landing). It does not say in the manual what type chain is on it. I was wondering if any of you guys have bought one and where to get it. Thanks, D

is there any way to adjust the chain tension, on my daughters scrambler you can adjust it so the chain is tighter, and not so loose.... you should probably go with a factory replacement part, or equivalent... my brother was able to find a replacement chain for his son's kuzma after he broke it at a local tractor supply store...

Yes you can adjust the chain tension by turning out a bolt but the bolt is almost out of threads because the chain has streched. I am hoping to clean the chain off and find some kind of numbers on it. I want to buy a better quality chain. Thanks, D

I guess there aren't too many tractor supply stores around Berlin NJ, ... my brother was able to find a replacement for his son's atv at a small town tractor/farm supply store , he brought the chain it and and had the 4 wheeler on a trailer and they installed it for him for free and cut it to length on the spot.... hope you find one...
