Default Heading out for #5

I finally got the ASR a arms the other day. Now that my body seems to be healed up I am leaving tonight for race #5 tomorrow. I still need left, front and left, rear wheels. I need a new steering stem and bearing, too. They are all bent but still usable.
I got the ASR's on and totally guessed at the settings as I have no frigging gauge. If you can believe it, it goes straight as an arrow!
Anyway, if you have any of the items gathering dust, let me know.
I will be back Sat night and let you know what happened.

why not take your steering stem to a welding shop and get them to chop it up and make you a new one? its pretty easy, and it can be any length you want, so if you'd like higher bars you could always get them to add and inch or 2

7th Place. I am just happy to have finished. The best part was I didn't crash. The course was grueling. I loved it. I can't figure out if it turns better or not. I can't ell if it has high speed flutter. The course was rough as all hell. The open areas where I could get it in 4th gear was bumpy so I couldn't tell one way or the other. It did seem to bite more in the turns instaed of pushing through.
I feel good. Nothing bent that I know of! The next one is in Jan. I can't wait. I still need those parts and also shocks.

The ball joints went through HELL yesterday and worked great. As far as longevity? I don't know. They are easy to replace, too.
Time will tell. The good thing is the customer service from ASR. Seems like a quality product to me. And If the joint goes bad, I can buy a new one.
I finally grew some ***** and took my carb off and cleaned it. It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and it ran GREAT afterwards.
