Oil filter????

Default Oil filter????

Will this oil filter fit my 01 ds i think it says its for a 00 but i thought they are all the same

Default Oil filter????

You need one for a an 01 or newer DS. The 2000 DS's had a shorter filter and that is what that particular K&N filter is for. You should be able to get one for an 01 or newer from them though.

Default Oil filter????

I have a short filter sitting in the garage. I got one for the BMW f650 as the dealer was nearer, bmw have not changed to the long one. Somthing else for e bay when i have a clear out.

Default Oil filter????

I made that mistake as well. The K&N151 is the shorty. I am to understand that the outer filter covers are different. There was a guy at a local shop that was determind to find a longer K&N.....He has yet to find anything but that 151 filter...

Default Oil filter????

I ordered through RMATV for my 02. it was wrong. they did not have any other filters. I dont think they have figured it out yet. so, my guess is they dont have the one you need.

the local yamy shop here has the champion filter that fits. they dont stock bomb parts. but carry a filter for it? go figure.

Default Oil filter????

ONE of my local Bomb dealers has yet to figure that they made a change in filters also. I've got two short ones in my garage also. I should have checked before I drove off.
Much easier to go with HPR.
