Default mud machine tires in sand?

I am looking into buying a set of the mud machines for my 02 baja after reading the rave reviews that were posted. I was going to get a set of realtors but after reading the reviews I am leaning more toward the mud machine's. I ride in sand pits and trails in Florida. Are these tires good in the thick sand? Which mounting direction works best? I appreciate the help.

I have not made it to the riverbeds to play in the sand yet with mine. I can tell you that my brand new realitors sucked big time in the sand though running them reverse for the sand. I'll let you know when I do finally try them in the sand. After seeing them hook up like crasy in loose sloppy mud I dont think the sand will even phase them.

I have the ITP holeshots and they work great in the sand.

Listen to Bobcat. They work dude, trust me. Oh, mount them "directional" forward. They don't do crap when mounted backwards. Unless your bike has reverse. Lol.

I think so, you were asking about the MudMachine's right? Oh, i just went riding in an area called Holopaw, Fl. Lots of open trails, and MUD !!!!!!!!!! Holy crap, this stuff was like black peanut butter in some areas. I held out the whole day, saying "I'm not slammin' my $6,000 sport bike in that crap !! " Well, i did. They kept callin' me a whimp, what was i supposed to do?
The guys i was riding with had 4x4's and some have big mud tires too. They could not touch me in that mudhole. They said i was throwin' it 15-20ft !!! They were so impressed they were all high-fiven' me when i got done slingin' it. You'll love em. Best tire you can buy.

Hey, Redbomer glad to hear you showed them boy's your not a sissy. The same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago.I was invited on a ride with some old hometown friends, to go on there all day ride along the red river a trail that goes about 30 miles in some of the roughest country. I was with 56 other riders I was the only one that did not have a winch and 4x4.Most of them had never seen a DS, one smartass asked me where I wanted him to tie his tow rope to.I tell you that was the funnest ride I have ever had. They gave me a nicname TERD because I was throwing terds on them with those mudlite's like you have never seen.
