Hey Sandbomber....I was at TVI when gary was doing your motor. It was your top end that needed work..Why would gary take the cases apart to do a new cylinder and piston? New way of building motor?..There is a lot of crank case pressure in the 770.I am sure gary can fix the problem. And he will do it in a timely fashion.

Dunestalker, It has been no secret that I felt the 770 has been down on power but the reason Gary had the motor was the case gasket blew out Labor day week end. He wanted to see if he could make it stronger and I hope he did make that happen. I would like to put those DS720s in there place

Thanks Wayne and thanks for the feedback guys. Sometimes I want to run these quads off a cliff. Thinking about it I have run off a cliff before and a bridge a few years back but thats another story

You will notice very little differance between the 720 and the 770 unless you are hill climbing.Remember you are only talking 50cc here. The 770 has a LOT MORE tourque than the 720. But if you are racing on flat ground. The 720 will run with the 770..The 770 will kill a 720 on the hill climbs..I have witnessed this may times at sandlake

Not to be mean but with all the problems and all the money you invested I think you could have learned how to build motors and repair them yourself. From the sounds of it you definately have alot of experience with bikes..I wish you all the luck in the world too. We all hate things to keep going wrong right after one another. We here in Florida wish you all the luck in getting back to dunes/trails..... I am looking into learning about building bike motors myself...I am a true atv fanatic and hate to waste money on something especially when I have 2 hands....
