Hey guys I just came back from a dealership and they gave me some good updates on the 450. According to them they can not even order a 2005 DS650. He said it wasn't even on his order form. But he was told that a 450 was being tested. He didn't have any info on it but it seems kind of strange that he can not order 2005 650. Maybe we will see somthing soon.

 

thats weird some on here already own 05s maybe they put a hold on all orders? what ever it is this talk of a 450 is exciting!!!

 

well i thought I had seen some 05's. I thought maybe he ment to say 06 but i figured it would be to early for that.

 

Although the ds650 is a fantastic bike (I had an '01), I suspect it is a money loser for BRP. I just don't see that many around as compared to Raptors, YFZ's and such. I wonder if they are cancelling production of it (no new orders)? Maybe focusing production facilities on the new 450???

 

you can still get a ds650 but they only make the x. not the reg 650. no 450 yet. sorry

 

They only make the X??? im pretty sure they still make the lowest model ds650 and the x they just stopped making the ds650 baja all together and replaced it with the X

 

nop you can only get the x. the dealers will have left over reg 650. trust me i work at a dealership.

 

for 05?? on there website they got the standard edition a really nice red model and then the X

 

well i know my local dealer didnt have any reg 05s and just sold the 05 x off the floor. he says he has more xs in the crate and told me he can get me an 05, so im not quite buying it
