My freind has a 2000 model DS 650 and one of the upper ball joints is going out. I am trying to find him a new one but cant seem to come up with anything. Our so called local dealer is so iggnorant that they told him they needed to know if it was a front or rear ball joint (not left or right, or upper or lower) and after he argued with them for a little while they told him that it was going to be 98 dollars... Well I am not wise on Bomb's but I do know that there aint no ball joint that bike that cost that much. Anyone know where I can find one?

 

I was told by my local stealer ship, the Ball joints are only sold in pairs. 98.00 is the same thing they told me

 

Well another guy that I know has a DS and he only paid like 30.00 for his. Its an 03 Baja so It might be different I dont know.

 

I know you can get the ball joints for the aftermarket A-Arms from Ricky Stator???

 

I bought a set of a-arms on ebay off of another forum member who sold them because of a damaged ball joint. $98.00 replacement so he sold the upper & bought the ASR after markets. He sold his stockers & bought the after markets @ break even on the deal. The ASR's are adjustable but weight is alittle more.

 

Well, I guess that he might just have to cough up some extra cash to get this thing rollin again
