I don't know what the big deal is about the YFZ..... I think it's a beautiful bike and I guess it's supposed to be pretty fast.
I road one last week that was bone stock. I thought that it flat out sucked. The seat was as hard as a rock, the ergs were WAY TOO tight, and the ride was bone-jarring. I'm not comparing to my DS, I just got off a Z400 that I did some work on. WAY more comfortable, and way more fun to ride. I did the work and my buddy threw about $300 at it. I raced the YFZ with the owner riding it. The owner goes about 160 and I was on the Z. I gave up about 150lbs. We raced up Comp at a place called Armagosa (2 hours from Vegas). We were DEAD EVEN. My buddy got on his Z (the affore mentioned Z) and got the YFZ by about 4 lengths. The bitch of it was, the Z didn't even have his it's gearing right.
just my two cents. I also recently rode a 05 TRX. What a night and day difference between the YFZ and the TRX. Ergs were way better, the overall feel was fantastic and the sled was just about the same speed. Now if they can just make that red bike with an electric start option......

I don't know about anyone else but I just enjoy the nice ride and the soft landings,[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I think it is just about enoying what you have and I sleep well knowing I am on one of the coolest machines out there[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
