Is the jets the same size as the gas jet or are the threads bigger?

I was just checking. I have installed both old and new style alky kits.I have even made a few of my own. The tube jet # is a 8Y this is as big as I use for alky. The jets depending on mods usualy are around 285+ or so depending on temp. The dyno even showed this size tube was right on. Like I said depending on mods. LOL... i was also double checking.------my bad the y8 is .125 or 1/8 inch. but the kicker is the 330 main i put in is bigger than 1/8. .125 is between 310 and 320.

I would start a little bigger. I've done the TM45 and TM48. I don't like alky under 50 degrees. It doesn't burn hot enough at 50 and below to make the power it normally does. Gas is better at these temps for riding.
