Ok i bought hte bike loike a month ago

the cooling fan apparently doesnt come on now lol
i forded a river along with a dvx 400 and we both made it no problem by the next day the light wont go off
it has plenty of oil so thats now it....any ideas?

im gonna try and see in the morning if its good
i took the wire off the sensor to let it dry but i didnt know if it was something else

Good deal. They even was it for ya too sometimes. My dealer was involved with sleds mainly though, but carried the bomb line so they sold the quads too. They didn't know jack about my ride, some 13 year old kid could do better just due to the fact that his eyesight would be better to read the book!. I hate my dealer......Anyways, hopefully everything works out well for ya.

Search the forum for Oil Light Sensor and you'll find a lot of posts.
I've been through three sensors. Bomb makes a rubber boot for the oil sensor to keep it dry. I installed one and haven't had a problem (oil light staying on) since. The sensors are junk IMO.
Regarding the fan not turning on, remove the seat and take a look at the two fuses under the seat (near airbox). I had a blown fuse, when I replaced, the fan was working again.
