Nice plan, I Hope you catch more thieves this weekend.. Why are thieves scratching numbers off? I would think having no numbers would be as bad as having stolen numbers
Is there any way for me to check impound yards? My bike has lots of identifing marks on it.

Well the weekend was sort of a success. We retreived 11 more stolen quads, and dirtbikes, but had a little incident that could hamper further operations. We were able to get 9 of the bikes back with hardly any problems. We then had 2 run with a pursuit entailing. One was cought after he blew a top end on a kx125, and the other hit a guard rail at about 80 mph. He is listed in critial and will be a vegatable even if he lives, "oh well". My major's have been more than supportive, but I am now catching some flack from my chief. I am trying to put together some my op's I will have to just plan the op orders a little different.
Oh by the way their was a '02 warrior that was registered in Alabama, but we can't find the vin. If you guys know of anyone missing a simular quad let me know.

I dont see why your operation should be hampered after a thief or reciver of stolen goods got hurt, he decided to run it was his choice.
I could see their point if it was a bye stander, But an offender made a lot of choices along the way that led him to his unfortunate conclusion.

maybe in scotland, but here in the FEEL GOOD USA, the police dept will probably get sued by that guy's family. It is just different here. Like that cop in LA that slammed the 18yr old on the car. the video shown over and over, but the news about the suspect grabbing the cop's nuts didn't make it out until after 2 trials against the cop that were both deadlocks, and a lawsuit!.. Our media puts the wood to the good guys!
