(222) Randall's truck was broken into at a hotel in Albuquerque NM wednesday night. Luckily the trailer was not entered but they stole a digital camera, three 35mm cameras,and a video camera along with all the film and video of FSW and their family vacation. His daughters back pack was even stolen with a weeks worth of homework. Police said they were about 30 seconds from starting the truck and getting away with the whole rig!
The hotel security guard saw them in the truck and things came down to a 10 car police chase BUT THE THIEVES GOT AWAY!

The cops said dont even bother locking your trailer because the thieves are using cordless sawzall's to cut a hole in the side of trailers to get in!!

Man that sucks, I sure hate to hear all that, been happening too much lately. Sure am glad they didn't get the rides though. Pretty impressive that the cops actually persued, that sure doesn't happen enough!

if its that common then the cops need to stake out a baited trailer, and post up inside it with a belt fed on a bipod!

Why dont we see police chase vids where the crooks get away? it seems to be happening on a consistent basis..................

10 cop cars and the thieves got away?? What was the getaway car, a turbo Porsche?

Thieves need to be punished in a way that truly deters them from trying to steal.

Stuff like this makes you afraid to go anywhere with a trailer. I can't believe they took the kids bookbag[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] At least you got your bikes, it sounds like that was close too!
