How does your DS do in the snow?
I had a chance this weekend to play in the snow with my DS. I have 20" Kenda Dominators on the back, that's what came on there when I bought it a few months ago. I couldn't get good traction to save my life! I rode with a few others who have a raptor, 400EX, and a couple of Blasters. They were all running circles around me. The guy with the raptor can ride his *** off so I let him try it and the same with him on it. He said he was keeping it in the higher gears and it was moving a little better. My question is do the DS's just suck in the snow or do I need different/better tires?

These tires did well in the snow. Don't get me wrong in 16 inches of snow the snow did get piled up in front of the quad and I did get stuck once in a while. Most of the time I was able to blast my way out. I mainly rode where there was 3 to 6 inches and had no problems.

the biggest problem is the 20" tires. no ground clearance and also the kenda's do suck. we do alot of snow riding on the snowmobile trails and my razor's work good. but still in the loose snow it isn't to hard to get stuck. let out some air ( run about 3-4lbs) and run in a higher gear to keep wheel spin down.
