It is soooooo bad here in California, that farmers have to continually water their dirt roads to keep the dust down. They could be fined if they don't water, or convert to asphalt!

The only reason that the legislators are going after the offroad community, is that all the other businesses that you mentioned (trucking companies, industrial plants. etc) all have politicians in their corner becasue of political contributions, and gifts, like a week in maui in the "company's" beach house. a couple of weeks in Aspen at the "ceo's" condo...etc..etc

yeah, we have a good base as far as coming together for things, but not proactive enough to get one of "our guys"elected into office either on the state or federal level.

it will be then and only then that the gov't will stop hammering us with sensless garbage, and start concentrating on some of the real problems that we have in our country (p.m. me if you are interested to hear what i think our problems are)
