Apparently there are some DS650s out there that are running EFI. I am trying to find out more info...

Scooby, reading your fascinatng signature, I notice you list your air-fuel meter and oxygen sensor (four-wire, no less!). Is this instrumentation ride-along equipment, dedicated to your machine; that is, mounted on the quad? Or is this setup test equipment, used in the shop; a tool, like a torque wrench or feeler gauge?

Also, I notice a flatside carb with accelerator pump listed as a FUTURE mod; I thought you already possessed this add-on, from your previous posts on jetting and plug color reading, or am I mistaken?

Any thought to the Stage III European motorcycle tuning?

The EFI is probably from the BMW F650.

True, the new BMW F650 is Fuel injected.
SO some people are probably using that.
I think using the Fuel Injected BMW F650 motor with the Aprilla Pegaso 650`s 5-valve head on the BMW`s motor, in a DS chassis would be nice.
but thats just me i guess.

The BMW site lists 44 ft-lbs of torque for the F650GS!

It's the same motor, just a different head and EFI. The EFI is $3500! That is a bit steep. You can get aftermarket EFI for a V-8 for about the same or less.

The Edelbrock carb sounds more cost efficient than the EFI. For $3500 I could get the Edelbrock, K&N air filter and probably a custom made Chromolly frame, a-arms and trailing arm. That would be an increase of power, strength and lightening the weight, which would net much greater performance than the EFI would give you.

It will be interesting to see how the Alba Supercharger does, though.
