I'm looking to buy a set of sand tires and I was wondering which tire seems to work the best for the DS and what size and number of paddles does it have I would like to try the ITP 12"ers but I don't have the green for that , and to adjust the valve do you have to remove the fuel tank for access.
Thanks for any help.

I've got 20x11x9 8 paddle haulers on mine and I love it. They work great.

I have 20x10x10 9-paddle haulers. I don't like the size of the tires - they measure closer to 18" than 20". Also, I should have bought the 11" wide tires instead. I am going to buy 22x11x10 10-paddle taller haulers since I'll be riding in the dunes with a supercharger. I hear Sand Skate IIs are good if you want a v-paddle.

Also, I have 22x8x10 razor backs for the front. They are a must for the DS in sand, you will love them!

Be sure to run very low pressure in the rear tires for better traction and major roost!

I have sand tires unlimited padla brats 21x12x10 that have 40% of a paddle cut off alternating sides. Grab great ride smooth .

I run 22-11-10 skat trak edge paddles they hook up great but I can't give a comparison with anything else (they are the only set I have).
Yes you must remove the tank to check valve settings also get some zip ties, it is easier to remove the valve cover if you cut the existing ties.

I'm using 22x11x10 (10 paddle) V's from Skat Trak, on 10x9 Douglas .190 rims.

I couldn't ask for a better setup.
