Hightower , unless they changed the q-core insert , you will have to rejet and it doesn't sound much quieter (still loud as hell!!!!) Plain hmf my jetting was right on ,TONS of power . Q-core in black soot all around the tip lost power -still loud. Before you order one ask them if it is the same design from a couple of yrs back . If so I would think you'll be better off making your own insert.

Just finished puttin my new HMF on, i was worried about the jetting since i had a full system and stock air box to now having the bigger air box, stock headers and a slip on, but all i did was play wit the air screw and idle screw and WOW, i like this pipe, shes deep toned too which is right up my alley, its not 100% jetted but close, took er for a spin and i was surprised, takes off like a bullet, 2 thumbs up for the HMF

Had a White Bros R4 and it ran worse than stock. Running a HMF now and it's much better.

What's a Topgun, what kind of materials will it be constructed of, full system or slip-on, removable sparky and sound reduction ability, etc?

I have the Trinity kit and I had ran a White Bros slip on before and the difference was like night and day. The Trinity has a nice finish, sits up high, looks small and infact is, which makes it one of the loudest exhaust out there and it's bark is as loud as it's bite. I would put it up against a RWR & CT any day.

Horsepower Research is developing what they are calling a Topgun...Im pretty sure it will be a full in-frame, drag-type pipe! Im sure it will make plenty power through all power bands....anything they produce makes power! It was suppose to be out in February, but he has been pushed back for now!
