New Bombardier?
I just got my new ATV sport mag. yesterday and they had an interview with Bombardier. The Bombardier people said that the DS was getting kinda old and then told ATV sport that they had a new sport quad in the mills and wouldnt give any information on it. Im assuming it will be another 450 but has anybody else heard talk of such quads?
Bombardier said that this quad was gunna put them back up in the runnings..and im ancious as to what its gunna be...

New Bombardier?
I was at my dealer yesterday and asked if he new anything about a new ds. He just got back from the factory and said that bomb has a 450 with reverse built and were going to release it last year, but honda released theirs first, so bomb had to do some reworking on it to make it more competitive. I asked if there was anything else coming out. He said he cold not say. He said wait and see we all should know in a short while. I hope their is a 450 coming I will be adding one to my lineup.

New Bombardier?
I hope BRP never tries to compete with the japanese quad manufacturers, we would just end up with over stressed 450cc engines and light weight components that fail. The things that have kept the old.. yes old DS650 on top is that it is made very rugged, dependable, and comfortable. I don't need a race machine!! I wouldn't care if it's a 2 stroke or 4 as long as it makes plenty of power and it dosen't self-destruct in a year or two. The only reason to make a 450 machine that falls in direct competition with the other 450s is to go MX racing, there are plenty of quads to choose from already and I would hate to see bomb go that way. Make me a DS650 with hydraulic motors on the front wheels and a pump to make my bomb AWD like the yamaha 2wd bike that was in the Dakar and I won't ask for anything more..

I would love to see Bombardier get in the 450 class. Why not usurp the throne from Honda and Yamaha? I fearsince the DS does't sell as well as the other manufacturers they may one day close it's doors. A v-twin 450 can bring a lot of attention to Bombardier. They made waves with the DS, why not in the 450 class.
