I was looking into who makes swingarms for the DS, found that Alba sells the TBR swingarm, HP Research has the custom swingarm, Ace Fabrication - ebay sells only + sizes, Eye Ball Engineering is a possible choice, still waitin to hear back from them on one. Got all "no's" from Denton, Houser, ATV Four Play, Lone Star, Ricky Stator, and Marky's from On Dunes designer stopped making

With the swingarms, cheaper is not always better. I bought mine, got ready to install it, and the pivot bushings wouldn't fit. I did some measuring, and there was 8 thousandths difference depending on which way I measured. The bushings are supposed to run .001" interference at the tightest point it was .006 too tight. When I tried to install the bearings before I measured it damaged the bearings. Just price the bearings for the 04's . $80 dollars later I got my new bushings and decided to measure. I talked to the builder and he said to keep him informed. I took the arm to a local machine shop, and had the make the modifications to the arm, he called me with bad news the next day. The tube that the pivot axle goes through was warped, I couldn't get the axle in once the bushings were installed. So I had been waiting for a while, and had talked to the builder and he said " send it back, I will see what is wrong with it, see if I can fix it, if not I will make another"."Probably take3 weeks" That is not what I wanted to hear. I wanted him to send me another when I got it I could take off the old one and install the new. After the old one was removed, I could send it back and he could examine it then. I may have been wrong for being impatient, but oh well. I just hate having down time, especially when its not my fault. So now I have bought 80.00 worth of bushings, and if something happens to my arm and I need to change it, I will probably need to buy a new pivot axle another 100.+. Needless to say, the money I saved, wasn't that much, especially when you factor in the time and frustration involved.

Teixeira Tech (www.teixeiratech.com) will be making suspension stuff for the DS this year. Mostly for dez and dunes. A arms will be +1 to +3 wide with +1 to +1.5" forward. Estimated travel with Custom Axis shocks will be around 14 to 15". In the rear an 2005 +1" swing arm will be produced with reduced weight (no idea as to travel). Design and testing are underway but he is hoping to match the travel numbers so keep your fingers crossed.
