Is there any difference between M.Y. 2000 and 2001?

I found a local dealer that has one DS 650 in stock, but I know that the 2001's are coming out soon. Are there any differences between the two years?

Thanks,
Mike

New tires I think. You'd probably be less likely to have problems with the 2001, than with a 2000. The 2001 has a higher list price. http://www.bombardier-atv.com/models.../ds650_fst.htm

Pretty sure the suggested retail price went up $300 from 2000 to 2001. As far as the changes I have not heard of much of any difference. They may have made some jetting changes but not sure. If there is a considerable price differnce I think you would be fine with the 2000 providing it was one of the later production runs for 2000. Mine is dated 04/00 and I have had no problems except with the upper chain roller and pretty sure that was my fault in how the suspension was set. I have heard the 2001's are out.....how many 2000's does that dealer have....you might be able to get a pretty good price on the 2000 if they have several.
