What kind of axle would you recommend for a DS that does most of it's riding on rough rocky trails with some small jumps and where would you get it?

Why not the stock one? they seem strong....but back to your question, if i was needing a new axle i would want a durablue axle you can get them from www.rockymountainatv.com

i was talkin to durablue some time ago and they mentioned a defect in their axle for the DS, not working wit the stock carrier or somethin, next summer im goin wit the Rad MFG titanium axle that includes a lot of parts, it seems like a lot at $999 but when u work it down its only $450 or so for a tiantium axle which isnt bad compared to $300 for a regular axle

I bent my stocker........then went with a Durablue. I have had no issues with it. The Durablue has a really nice finish that easy to keep clean and stays shiney too.

I bent my stocker on a nasty reck last year. I went to order a Durablue and my dealer had one there that he was putting on an brand new 04 DS. He told me that the Durablue didn't fit on the 04 do to some problems with the carrier. So I ended up just getting another stock one. I don't know if this has been corrected by Durablue as I've had no problems since then.
