since we are on the fluid filled gauge topic here. what is the fluid in the gauges. and what weight? I have a test gauge that I use at work. pulled it out of my tool box one day. and all the fluid leaked out through the plug in the back. I wonder if I can re-fill the gauge? get the fluid? or just through it in the trash?
nice gauges,by the way.

Alright, this has really got my attention. I have to install one of these oil gauges on my bike. Can someone please walk me through what all I need to buy, and how to install one? I am not overly mechanical, but can do most things. I would really like to install one so if anyone could let me know, I'll offer a free weekend ride when ya come to Florida

Harley Davidson has a kit with lines chrome mount and oil filled guage for 60 bones the lines are steel braided. guage only for 45. The guage is small I think 1 3/4 looks good though.

Hey guys where can I find the liquid filled gauges? I jumped on line looking and can't find them. Anyway tell me which gauge is the best, and what all adapters I need. Are mechanical, or electric the best. I still want to be able to use the stock oil light, so let me know. I'm excited now. I have been looking for something to buy, but haven't been able to come up with something that I could sell my girl on " honey I really need this to keep me and my bike safe, you wouldn't want it to just blow up and ruin are up comming vacation to the phillipines would you?" Also can you buy them with lights on them? And if so can you directly hook that up so that it comes on with your head lights? Ya I know it's a lot of questions but what the hell.

Someone asked about the liquid in the gauges? I'm not sure about autometer but most liquid filled gauges have glycerine in them, it's a heavy oil kinda like menerial oil. Man I didn't leave work until 2:00am this morning and can't remember how to spell anything this morning.

It's a stock dash with proper sized holes drilled out.
As you'll notice, there wasn't enough room for the key, so I went with a toggle switch and pro design kill switch combo.
