Default roll foot pegs

I have a set on my 03. I will be getting rid of that one over the summer.

If I can't sell it, I will trade it in for a YFZ. (for my son) and then sell his 250EX. They are easier to sell.

I will sell my footpegs and other parts first cause I won't get any more money by leaving them on.

PM me if you are interested. Dune season is just about done here.

Al

Thanks for those pics Hightower!!! Those are the same nerf's I use, so it's nice to see what they look like mounted to the pegs!!!

i got some for my 2000, they work great and are absolutly a must if you dont have heel guards or nerfs. plus the kickups are awesome for hard cornering

I have a set too, they are really stout. One thing you learn from those is that if your foot ever does slip off, and they scrape your shin, your brain will never allow you to do that again. Ouch!

those are graydon nerfs, the nerfs I like on the market now are Tusk - very nice and $99! they are stout too, just as stout as graydon, hell I've broken my graydon in half twice now!

you gotta brace the fenders if you lose the heelguards, even my fenders with 4" cut off each side flop way too much, gotta come up with something like I did (see the other pics in my gallery at the links posted above) or buy fender brackets from TBR or Alba.

no I did not install the seat cover, I had a local upolsterer do it for $25, he's really good. no way can a rookie do it, its a $120 seatcover that I'd just screw up and look like hell after trying.

Like Marky said, watch your shins, I keep injection molded plastic in front of mine ! (mx boots)

I've been thinking about finding a cheap pair of stock pegs and welding it to the back of the stock pegs, sure they won't be stainless but hey it'd be cheap
