Default Local Poker Run- Havasu members?

Here in Bullhead, our Poker Run takes place tomorrow. I just barely got done doing the necessary work I've been waiting for. It was a huge headache, but I had a shock sent overnight from Works Performance, installed my Trinity Exhaust, Re jetted the carb, installed the K&N, rewelded the shock reservoir mount, made battery box modifications and drove to Havasu to get the swingarm pivot shaft nuts. All I have to say is that I hate my local Bombardier shop. I order those nuts two and a half weeks ago. They didn't get them. They tracked it to Phoenix, but apparently they hadn't ordered them when I said to. If you live in Havasu, I envy you for your beautiful store of Walt's Motorsports and Marine. They actually had 5 of them on hand. I called all around Bullhead, Kingman and Havasu, no one had a 20mm 1.5 pitch bolt at all excepting for Walt's. Regardless, any of you Havasu guys running in our Poker Run tomorrow? If so, I'll be out there with my DS and probably have the end cap off of my exhaust. It'll probably be the loudest bike out there, so if you are there, let me know.

Phil

Total brainfart on that one. I was so wrapped up with my family being out from Chicago, I forgot. We had a group going from Havasu and I was supposed to be there with my family. I heard it was a blast and everyone wants to sign up for next year. Sort of weird, I move 2,000 miles away so I could do things and not go to family gatherings every weekend, and look what happens. They'rrre back!
Walt's always seems to have that special part or at least they try and find it. I tried your dealer, won't be back.

It was a blast, I crashed pretty crazily at one point for going too fast up a hill with dropoffs... yes, up them. Got airborn, flew off the trail including the quad and was up against a tree. Just turned it around and fed it the gas and was on my way.... unfortunately i ran out of gas like 10 miles afterward, and my chase vehicle was 10 miles behind me. I had to wait for a while but had a great view of both Golden Valley and BHC from the mountain I died on. My DS ran awesome, best it ever has and my new pipe is great. One of the loudest but I love the sound and power output from it. My chase vehicle got two flat tires, but we had his wife meet us with some new ones, he has a freaking fast vw rail. Built right, one of the few that is done right. Anyway, we rode to the start and then home at the end, so we rode a whole lot that day. Anyway, I'm going out right now to ride some more.

I drove down to Havasu from Vegas to get mine and I'd go it again, they were great. I realized I was missing a wheel hub cover when I got home so I called them back and they had one to me in like 3 days. Great shop!
