Default Lowering Ds with 400ex shocks?

I did a search and found that some have lowered the front of the ds650 by using stock 400ex shocks.
How much does it actually lower it using these shocks and are they an exact fit.

thanks

You will have to grind the eyelets on the shocks and the shock bushings to make them fit like the should, check my pics, I should have a pic of mine at the track w/400ex shocks.

thanks for the response, that is exactly how far I need to lower the front to match the back of mine.
If you don't mind I have a couple of questions:
So you are saying that I need to grind the bushing out to make it bigger so the bolt will fit right?
Also do you know if 300ex shocks are the same as 400ex shocks lengthwise, the reason I ask is because there are some for sale on ebay right now cheap. If not I will try to find some used 400ex shocks.
And what did you do to lower the back? I just took out the top red spring and lowered it all the down, it dropped my bike about 4".

thanks, Brandon
