Default Pismo questions????

Well I haven't been to Mo's in a while. Probably 2000-2001 was the last time I was there and their ribs were some of the best I have had. THey had also won the SLO rib cookoff (people's choice) award 5 years in a row so they couldn't have been all that bad. I guess they have gone downhill in the past few years.

I do like Firestone better anyways. Better atmosphere, big screen TV's and a nice bar.

tons of people tent camp there! Just have to watch out for the high winds and blowing sand.

tent camping there one night with my wife was the reason we bought a toy hauler!

locked the keys in the truck. froze our asses off. Moisture forming on the inside of the tent, dog tore the tent in half in the morning, yada yada yada

Default Pismo questions????

Tent camping .... Pismo Beach .... windy day .... spent 2 hours digging my tent out as well as cleaning the 1 - 2" of sand off of my bedding material inside of the tent. Not a good situation.

Default Pismo questions????

Does anyone know the rules for jet skiing at pismo. 2 stroke laws for out of staters who want to do the ocean thing. Anyone actually jetski in that area? Does the area have any good rides in the ocean to a destination? I am thinking of going mid july this year. thanks for the help.

Default Pismo questions????

I have seen stand up jet ski there and to the best of my knowledge they are all 2 strokes. I wouldn't want to beach lunch a jet ski with just any truck, seems it could get stuck real easy. A utility quad with a hitch would be trick, although I have seen plenty of trucks do it with out getting stuck. The water is always cold, so a wetsuit is a must. Only problem I see is no place to run fresh water through your motor to was out salt, unless you have and RV or trailer with hose.

Default Pismo questions????

I have my wifes outlander with winch and hitch to launch them. Her jetski has a california emissions sticker but mine is a dirty burning pig. (goes real fast though) I am hoping to hit some of these restaurants everyone is mentioning and the malls. I do have a favor for some kind person. Does anyone have room to drop off two jet skiis and four four wheelers for a couple days. We are headed down to disneyland and the other theme parks after the dunes. Around the 19th or 20th of july. I want to have the toyhauler empty for those five days if possible. Anyone live between pismo and LA or know of a storage place that would allow four days storage or there abouts. Thanks for the help.
