Default Axle Bearing PN? not factory

Anyone have the Timken, NGK or other manufacturer part number for 01 DS rear axle bearings? I have grinding noises in the rear end after several river crossings last weekend.

Thanks for the info.

There has been several threads with regard to the rear axle bearing failure. You may want to check the Bombardier recall effort.

Nevertheless your question brings to mind, why does everyone tend to lean towards repacking the bearings rather then replacing them with permanently greased and sealed bearings......
