So what compression are you all running, 11:1 or that 14:1 and at 14:1 what octane are you using?? ALso do the make a 12:1 and with the right cams can that run on 91 octane?

 

i was able to run 93 pump gas with the 11.5 rwr piston but as soon i went 12.1 and over i was time to run 110 race fuel instead.

 

I run the 14:1 and use Sunoco 110 leaded pump fuel. You can get it over here in Corona from that gas pump at aprox 4.60 a gallon.

I don't know for sure but I don't think cams make any diff when it comes to the octane you use. I think compression is the deciding factor there.

 

I am at 13:1 and have to run 110 race fuel aswell. I have been running that since I put my 11.5:1 pistion in. If you are spending the money on the motor what is another 2 bucks a gallon for fuel.

I have run race fuel, but it runs better with 91.

I am running Race fuel with an 11.1 piston ..But i can run 91 octane with no problems.. But for as much as i spent on my motor. Why not feed it the good stuff

 

at these new prices isn't it all the good stuff
