I have just bought a mint 00 model DS and know the twitchyness at the front is going to annoy me . Could i put a set of upper a arms off a 04 on it to fix the problem ????

I know that a-arms off of my quad will fit. I have a '03 baja, and they are the newer style. The other thing to help would be a steering stabilizer, they are great. And the other thing would be make sure it doesn't have radial tires, put on a good set of tires on it and that will help.

04 A arms will fit I just put a set on my 01, Made a huge difference!!!!!!!!!

Are the 04 arms lighter? I heard the uppers were aluminum. True?

 

The upeer A arms on an 04 DS are aluminum..It is the only year that bombardier made a aluminum A arm.If you break them. You can NOT order another set. They dont make them anymore and will send you a steel A arm as it replacement.......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

 

So 04 is the only year they made the aluminum A-arms??
