Front fenders, or not
I ride in just about everything out here in AZ, excepting snow.... doesn't snow much when it's 120 out, but I like mine. Protects from rocks... Also, if you get tired and want to stretch your legs and you're just cruising, they make a nice foot rest. Just keep your legs lose so you can still turn and stuff, but it's rather fun.

Front fenders, or not
Just got back from ridding today. We have had a lot of rain so the trail had plenty of water and mud on it. Started with no fenders and after five minutes came back to camp and put the front fenders on. Still got soaked and muddy but could have been worse without the fenders. I thought about shaving the rear fenders and now I am glad I didn't as a lot of the water and mud came from the rear tires.
