i spoke to my dealer and he said my X didnt need to be brought in for grease... it didnt sound convincing, kinda like whatever

im to busy..

how can i check this?

 

my 04 had grease the first time i pulled it apart

 

You could go as far as remove the brake hub to check for grease.If i was to go that
far i would just take the time and finish the job.

When i did mine on my 04 they had plenty of grease and a little grit,so i just replaced
them.

 

Hi every one.

I imported one from Usa 6months ago 650 x model -04 and i got the recall paper from the dealer in Us.
But as you understand the swedish dealer doesnt fix this for free becouse its imported. So my question is;
I am a pretty good mechanic but does anyone have any drawings on the rear axle? or whats gona happen when a pull things apart? i have never worked on a atv before only motorcycles.

So if you have any tips or drawings, pictures, step bu step instr, or anything to help i would be very glad, otherwise i turn it in and let them doit for me, but i usually likes to do it myself.

Have you guys checked out the listing of serial numbers on the BRP website? Looked mine up but it wasn't on there.
