Yep I wanna try, the alum swing arm is lighter and shorter, be nice to turn even sharper in the dunes, I'm more of a trails dune rider than a hill stormer

I swapped my 04 to an 03 style swingarm. You will need to change the upper bushings, lower shock bushings, brake caliper mount, shock, brake line, remove links from chain, and change the lower plastic sliders. I think that was all of it. I swapped mine because the front end always wanted to come up when you try and launch it or on steep hills the front end gets really light.

Jmac what lower plastic sliders are you referring to? I'm going to make the switch myself. I have been told you do NOT need a new shock, you can revalve the old one to work with the new swingarm.

The lower plastic skid plates and upper chain guide. I was told the valving and spring was different so I went to elka's for an 00-03.
