jetting......400ex
#1
Hey guys......I was curious if any one knows what main jet, needle, and air/fuel screw combo I should run on my sons 400ex. It is stock engine wise. I have a k&n on it and i just bought him a hmf slip on for it....Thanks in advance.

Im only guessing here so take that into consideration
My guess would be since stock is 148 on the main try a 150
Stock clip position is 3rd grove from the top. Prolly just fine right there.
Pilot screw set at factory is about 1 turn out. Also prolly OK. If not go out in 1/4 turn increments until you no longer get backfiring on deceleration. If your not having that problem anyway then leave it where it is. Mama always said "If the toaster ain't broke, Don't fix it"
