Default Ds 650 to GSX-R1000 Ear to Ear smile stuck

Ok Guys I did it, The DS650 is awsome in the dirt and on the sand, But there is nothing on the black top with stock acceleration of Suzuki's GSX-R1000 Croch Rocket!
I went and got an 05 black and Yellow, Last friday and im still smilling!
Theres Power beyond belief in the throttle.
Wife said I could get one but it had to be yellow, and I said no problem!

Ditto!!! The big streetbike motors are fun, Congrats bajaxrider. I will be dropping a new busa motor in the DS and a little juice in a lightened set-up. I recently rode a new honda 600R and was NOT impressed by the power, But I have heard the new suzuki 1000c are makeing GREAT power and torq.

get a paddle tire for that 'Zuki & we'll hit the dunes again.

I take it you needed to be faster on service calls?

The true test could be if you can keep your drivers license. Just takes an awfull lot of self control. I just read that the Suzuki is leading World Superbike after 2 races and that is the first time in awhile that anyone has been able to hold off Ducati. Plus Suzuki has won the last several AMA Superbike series. No doubt you have picked a winner.

ever owned a street bike before? if you have congrads if you havnt be very careful please. ive riden street bikes since i was 16 and ive lost a lot of friends from them......
ride during the day with your high beam on or get a modulator that is dot approved to strobe the headlight during the day. people in cages (cars and trucks) look right threw us....
always wear good gear no tennis shoes, or shorts dont be a squid.
let the tires heat up before beating on it too bad, cold tires and cold pavemen equals a low side and there not fun
