CHANGING 330 OUTLANDER TO 400

Default CHANGING 330 OUTLANDER TO 400

I have a 330 Outlander, want to make it a 400. Other than the piston, cylender, and head, what els is different? PIPE, CAM, JETTING, CLUTCHING,???? Is it a feasible to do this change?

what...u have to bore the motor to get it to a 400 man u cant give it a pipe, cams, jetting, or clutching and call it a 400 its still a 330 just with those mods

I know it needs to be bored. The question is,what is different? Do they have the same cam, pipe, clutching, gearing.

In my experiences, it has always been cheaper and more reliable/less frustrating to sell the smaller one to finance the bigger one.

Sell the 330 and put that parts money into buying the 400.

Unless you get a Bombardier engineer or top notch tech you might not find out everything you need until it won't start or worse......

Thanks for the responce, guy's. About the time I make a 400 out of it, they will come out with a 500 or a 600.
