rear axle bearing

Default rear axle bearing

When bombardier builds these bikes how come they did not install grease zerts so you could grease them without having to pull them apart?

ya, with their chain tensioner design it made it difficult to put one in that would work all the time(ie: it would have to turn)

I know someone here in Israel put it on some quads so they can easily grease the rear axle bearing.

Before you guys go bashing Bomb. too much, how many other sport quads do you see out there with greese zerks in the bearig carriers? I can't think of one. Remember 2 things; 1- greese zerks let greese in, not out. Where is the old greese going to go? Out throught the seals? 2- greese zerks also let water in! This is the leading cause of carrier bearing failure. Which would you prefer?
Just some food fore thought.
