I raced in my first GNCC race this past Saturday at the Loretta Lynn’s in Tennessee. We camped out Friday night and woke up Saturday morning to a flooded track. Most everyone had to relocate camp and they had to change the race course. But we still raced. The DS performed GREAT. Me on the other hand, I was a little sloppy, but I still finished 11th out of 31. Could have been better but not to bad I thought for my first one.

I was in the morning class. 1st year racer 16 to 25, and then 5 of my friends were in the first year racer 25 and up class. One of them was the guy that rolled the polaris on the start. Some how he still managed to finish 2nd in his class. Thanks for looking for some pics. it shouldn't be hard to find. I think it was the only DS there.

Cool, congrats!
I raced round 13 last year, Ironman Classic in Indiana, it was a nasty horrible mudfest too. Riders dropping out like flies everywhere from it, radiators clogging and motors overheating, people oversliding turns and whiping out into trees, motors and ignitions drowning out in deep creek crossings. There was only one other DS there besides me outa like 700 quads total. Bike was doing great til I overslid a turn coming outa the creek and hooked a tree with a front tire, bent the tie rod and snapped the end like a twig, sending me over. But even though I didn't finish, I was still like twenty something outa forty something in my class, there were alot more that wiped out before I did!
