Default DIMM OIL LIGHT ?

I changed the oil ,filter, and cleaned strainer..Rode for about 2 hours and noticed the oil light looked to be on, but it seemed to be sunlight hitting it just right.Today in the garage I started it and the light was bright while starting and then when idling the light dimmed but it was on .I cut the on switch and turned over a few times thinking maybe air , but the light was not on at least a couple of hours the day before.. Called the dealer mech. and he never heard of this before? There is no banging around in the motor so I'm hoping no problems there...Also used Bombardier oil and filter...

that happened to me, and it was the oil level. it was just enough to keep the light from going completely on, but low enough to trigger the light. i added about 3-4 splashes, and that solved the problem.

Added oil for the hell of it, then pulled the filter, and cranked it over and oil came pouring out , so there no air...I unplugged the switch and cleaned it , but still lights up.. I'm going to take it to the BOMB mech. and let him tell me that I am flowing oil or not, then I think it's time for some real gauges for oil and water...Also checked for any bare wire spots couldn't find any...I'll keep you posted....

Default DIMM OIL LIGHT ?

The Bomb oil pressure sensors are junk. I've had three on my machine. If they at all get wet, they go bad. I've read where someone pulled it off and let it dry out or heated it up. I can't comment, because I purchased a new one each time. I ordered and installed the Bomb oil sensor condom and haven't had the problem since. I think the rubber cover was < $10. I don't have the part number, the dealer can look this up.
