Default zero preload shocks

Does anyone have them? Whats your opinion of them? i talked with tcs today it lowers the bike a couple inches for my year. Any other advantages? I'm also thinking about getting some tcs front shocks as I heard they're pritty good. All replies appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil

Default zero preload shocks

I have the Elka zero preloads and they are awesome. I have quad rates with piggy backs in the front and triple rate in the rear. They lowerd my Bomb about 3 inches all around and improved handling 100%. I lost a little ground clearance but on the track it doesnt really hurt me any.

Default zero preload shocks

Thanks a lot. I'm not sure if i want to lose ground clearance because all i really do is ride trails and some dragging. But i prolly will go with it.

I have the Elka's as well. They are a great shock. Really makes a difference in the handling. I liked them so much I bought another set for my 2nd DS. Quad rate front & triple rate rear.

jmac, what does a setup (front/rear) go for these days? I would love to have some new shocks on my ride, but seems like a huge investment.

Quad rate from with piggybacks & triple rate rear with external res is $2174 to your door. But they are wirth every penny. That is why I bought 2 sets.

i was talking to tcs yesterday and they can get me the same fronts and rework my rear with zero preload for 1/2 that price. If anyone is interested. I think thats what i'm going to with.
