Default Question on exhaust!

I personally own a FMF Titanium-4 and am extremely pleased with its power gains and most the difference in weight. Also I have been extremely lucky and fortunate that somehow I did not have to mess with jetting any whatsover as after riding for half an hour with the new pipe the plugs were a perfect tan color, but if you're looking for a cheap alternative to a full system the endcap is a great idea and for the price is unbeatable.

That end cap is for me. Does it require a change in air flow as well or just jetting.
You don't have to but you realize better gains with a better airfilter and jetting. Contact this guy and talk to him.
You can contact our preferred Bombardier dealer and a stocking Horsepower Research products distributor at:
125 WALLACE AVE
Kevil

RECREATIONSPEC@AOL.COM
Phone : 270-462-2528
Fax : 270-462-2028
He will set you up with the right stuff. They also supply new screws for the bowl on your carburator because the stock screws are junk. Talk to Randall.

Default Question on exhaust!

There are lots of different tips out there, some better than others for different reasons. There are many MANY posts on this forum that refer to End Caps and Tips. Some are open tips, and others have more bells and whistles. I think everyone would agree that the most popular End Caps out there increase horsepower by between 1hp and 2hp. But the torque increase is the really good thing about these end caps. You'll want to study up on restrictions (if any - i.e noise levels and spark arrester req) before you buy an end cap. There are dyno charts available for many of them too.

I suggest doing a search on END CAP to help out.

Agreed. Mr Hp's end cap is very loud and is not spark arrested so that could be a problem depending on where you ride.

this end cap if you haven't seen is similar to mine except its the 4" disks. Its Ideal for noise sensitive areas and sparky sensitive areas. although when I go to the drags the cap comes off. my air/fuel ratio meter tells me that I'm leaning out when I run full open so I jet up. the end cap is well worth it!! but if you like eye candy then a aftermarket pipe is the way to go.

Default Question on exhaust!

Hey Sam,what kind of gains did you achieve with your tip? The hp tip sounds great except for one thing, noise! I kind of like the idea of being able to choose different options depending on which type of riding im doing.

over stock, it causes a strange occurrence called perma grin its well worth it. like said it only ads a couple hp on top but torque is the big gain and thats what throws you back in the seat. now I can only comment on the 5" supertrapp I made but I'm sure the 4" is similar in the power delivery as wildcard said. plus you can always doll up the stock can like I and others have if needed.
